This privacy policy applies to the Kitchy app (referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Roby Jay Pastores (referred to as the "Service Provider"). This service is intended for use "AS IS".

            Key Summary: Kitchy uses your device's camera only to scan ingredients and generate personalized recipes. Your data is never sold to third parties, and all AI processing is conducted securely.
        

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download, install, and use it. This may include:

Account information, such as your email address and name (for authentication and profile management).
Photos and images of ingredients or receipts you choose to capture using the device camera for pantry scanning.
Device information, including operating system version, unique device identifiers, and crash logs to improve app reliability.
App usage statistics, such as recipes viewed, menus generated, and features accessed.

The Application does not collect precise real-time GPS location data.

2. Camera and Photo Usage

Kitchy requests access to your mobile device's camera and photo library solely to allow you to take photos of your fridge, pantry, or grocery receipts. These images are processed exclusively to detect food ingredients and provide relevant recipes and cooking suggestions. Images are not used for facial recognition or any unrelated secondary purposes.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technologies

The Application utilizes AI technologies (including large language models and computer vision) to identify ingredients and generate customized restaurant-style recipes based on your available items. All AI processing is performed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations. 4. Third-Party Service Providers

Only trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Application have access to limited data required to perform their tasks. These include:

Supabase (Database, authentication, and secure cloud storage)
RevenueCat & Google Play Billing (Subscription management and in-app purchases)
AI Infrastructure Providers (Recipe and image analysis processing)

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using your personal information for any other purpose.

5. Data Retention and Account Deletion

The Service Provider retains user data for as long as your account remains active. You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time either directly within the app (Profile > Settings > Delete Account) or by sending an email to kitchysupport@gmail.com.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided personal information without consent, please contact us at kitchysupport@gmail.com and we will promptly delete such information.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your data.
